Hilary Overton
CEO/Founder
Hilary Walker Overton is the founder and CEO of Glory Reborn, a nonprofit organization and healthcare facility in Cebu. After earning her midwifery and medical degrees, she moved to the Philippines, driven by a deep passion to serve. Since 2003, Hilary has led the clinic with unwavering dedication, providing compassionate care to moms and babies in need.
Dave Overton
Co-founder
Dave is an international economist and entrepreneur with extensive experience in developing innovative solutions across various industries. With a solid educational foundation in International Business and Economics, he has successfully applied his expertise to drive growth and success in a diverse range of corporations.
From Texas To Cebu
Born out of a heart to serve, what started in the U.S. has grown into a life-changing mission reaching moms and babies across the Philippines, bringing hope, care, and compassion where it’s needed most.

2003
The Birth of Glory Reborn
Glory Reborn was founded over two decades ago with a mission to serve marginalized mothers and babies. Inspired by a desire for God’s glory to be reborn, Hilary and David Overton stepped out in faith to provide lifesaving maternal services in Cebu.

What started in a small apartment with just three midwives has since grown into a fully licensed maternity clinic, offering 24/7 care and sustainable employment for Filipino healthcare professionals.
2008
Ultrasound Training & Availability
Glory Reborn received ultrasound training, making early glimpses of babies in the womb more accessible for mothers ever since.
2013
Earthquake and Typhoon Yolanda Hit Cebu
In 2013, a powerful earthquake and Typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan) struck Cebu. Amid the devastation, an evacuee sheltering in a tent found refuge at Glory Reborn, where she safely gave birth to her baby. (Photo clipping from SunStar)
2015
Our HIV/AIDS Program Was Born With the Help of Volunteers
Our HIV/AIDS program was born with the help of a volunteer, Melanie. All of our pregnant mommies receive free HIV education, counselling and testing by our trained staff. Since 2016 we also offer a support group for Women Living With HIV in Cebu as we felt women were being left behind in services addressing this epidemic. Our support group encourages them emotionally, spiritually and practically with health teachings, Bible sharing and nutritional support. We have been privileged to walk with these women as they face stigma, discrimination and challenges, offering a safe space for sharing, learning and fun.
2019
3850 outreach interactions
Glory Reborn reached 3,850 individuals through community outreach programs, providing essential maternal care, health education, and support to moms and families in need.
2020
Cebu on Lockdown; Glory Reborn Stayed Locked In to Help
March 28, 2020: Cebu went into lockdown, leaving many in uncertainty. Glory Reborn found itself in what was called the "worst place to live in" during the pandemic. Yet, with the unwavering support of our partners—through prayers, gifts, and aid—help poured in for moms in need.
2021
Pioneering Waterbirth in Cebu
Glory Reborn introduced Cebu’s first water birth room, offering expectant moms a natural and empowering birthing option. This milestone helped mothers trust their bodies, embrace the birthing process, and experience a gentler delivery.
Expanding Access to Laboratory Services
May 5, 2021: Glory Reborn opened its laboratory, making essential diagnostic services more accessible to pregnant women.
Typhoon Odette Hit Cebu
When Typhoon Odette devastated homes in Cebu last December 2021, Glory Reborn and its partners came together to help rebuild and restore hope.
2022
A New Advocate for Moms' Mental Wellness
We welcomed Nikki, our 5th Peace Corps PH volunteer, to support our Maternal Wellness Program
