Sixteen! This month of August we celebrated Glory Reborn’s “SWEET 16”.

16 years of…

16 years of Jesus at work! Miracles. Lives changed. Glory Re-born on earth. Hope alive.

“Your faithfulness continues through all generations; you established on earth, and it endures.” Psalm 119:90

As we heard the testimonies of mothers whose children are ages 16 to newborn my heart was moved at just how faithful the Lord has been to us! Not just faithful but abundantly good!

In 16 years we haven’t suffered the loss of any mother. In 16 years we have prayed, dedicated and given life-saving healthcare to generations, our future leaders. In 16 years we have invested in the education of local Filipino healthcare providers and seen them provided for and growing in their faith. As two of our staff members (our accountant and our midwife) shared in church on Sunday, through Glory Reborn they came to know Jesus and now their life is dedicated to saving lives and sharing the life of Jesus! I am humbled and oh so blessed that the Lord would allow me to witness HIS glorious work in Cebu, Philippines.

It is a surreal thing to watch the promise, the vision, the mission of Jesus that once was only a glimpse unfold before you year after year and now stand with 16-year olds who have an amazing future ahead of them.

I am truly humbled and truly honored that the Lord allows me to walk with Him on this adventure of Glory Reborn.

“Know therefore that the Lord your God is God, the faithful God who keeps his covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments, to a thousand generations…” Deuteronomy 7:9

None of this would be possible without the entire body of Christ at work around the world. As I look at 16 years of payrolls, and 16 years of medical equipment, facilities, emergency vehicle, hospital care, literally “our daily bread”, YOU made that possible!

Without YOU, mommies, babies, healthcare providers could not save lives. Without YOU, the hope of JESUS could not have been brought to thousands of hearts. With YOU, we have saved a generation.

How do I say THANK YOU for being such an important part of Glory Reborn?! From the bottom of heart, THANK YOU!

Together let us KEEP BRINGING HOPE TO HEARTS. Together let us KEEP SAVING LIVES. Together let us BUILD A BIGGER COMMUNITY. Together let’s KEEP SEEING JESUS’ GLORY RE-BORN. HAPPY #16 GLORY REBORN!

As one of our mommies shared this month her greatest wish for her baby is “that she would encounter Glory Reborn’s love and care when she is older”. With Jesus, with your partnership, with our amazing team, let’s continue to make this dream alive!
