World Maternal Mental Wellness Day

This month, we marked World Maternal Mental Wellness Day by commemorating the graduation of our second batch of participants from the Mommy Circle Support Group. We are so proud of these mommies for their dedication to holistic wellness which impacts themselves personally and their families for health, hope and wholeness.

Glory Reborn's mission is to deliver complete, quality, holistic care to our community and our Wellness Program is a beautiful extension of our heart. The Maternal Mental Wellness Program encompasses not just the physical, but also the mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of true holistic wholeness.

Through wellness education, screening for perinatal mood disorders, support groups, and community outreach events, Glory Reborn is reducing the stigma around maternal mental health and empowering our community of mothers with tools to care for their mental, emotional and spiritual health as they embrace their journey into motherhood.

Recognizing the importance of staff well-being as they provide compassionate care to our clients, Glory Reborn also launched our official partnership with Empath PH. With Empath, our employees are able to access counseling and psychological services confidentially anytime they are in need.

Peace Corps volunteer Nghi says, “Specifically, our support group program is instrumental in providing a network of understanding and empathy for moms who are struggling with perinatal mood disorders by fostering a safe space for sharing experiences, emotions, and the word of God. “
